Bob Jackson 731os

That's a real nice paint scheme.

I noticed your in comment link on FiveAlpha’s thread and thought I’d better take a look, good read and a great paint finish, I can’t believe that motor home driver didn’t stop..... incredible.

Did you ever take any photos of the frame fully dressed in all her finery?

Re:

Should have posted months ago, you know how it is

Here’s the build-up:

This bike is used for all kinds of riding, including putting a rack on for lightweight touring, so has gearing suitable for the steepest of hills, now with a 26 inner. This generally gets me up anything Yorkshire can throw at me, including Park Rash and Rosedale Chimney, but nothing is guaranteed. Mixture of modern spec with one bit of bling, a Dura Ace seat post.

By the way, Peachy, your account of building up the bikes with your son one of the more heart-warming contributions on the forum, keep up the good work!

Absolutely spot on. That’s got to be a contender for October’s 80’s & 90’s themed RBotM
