BMX cranks on MTB's

Most are pretty straight forward. Get the right size cups. install with the right size preload spacer inside, Adjust the chainline with the supplied spacers. Tighten the bolts. Easy peasy.

Because I'm an idiot, I only understand what chainline is in that post

Just got back from a road ride. I have another Profile in a spares box in the garage. I'll change, grab a cold refreshment, and take an exploded pic.

Top man. . .thanks 8)

Seems that most BMX cranks come with spindle and then I just need a euro BB that caters for the appropriate diameter spindle, spacers in the right places and bob's yer mothers brother??

Right. Because the arms slide on the splines, it's important that you get the length of the spacer between the inner races right, so that when you torque the bolts on the arms, it compresses the races against the spacer, and there's no side load on the bearings/outer races inside the cups.

The spindles also come in different diameters (22mm and 19mm) so make sure you get the right Euro BB for your cranks.

Edit: Doh, just saw you already said that, ignore me. How do you delete a post on here?
