BMX Chainrings

I have to confess BMX is a mystery to me. I admire BMXers, but I am just too much of a coward to ride like them.
I like some of the chainrings, though, and I see they are listed on Ebay as 110BCD.
Does this mean they fit a normal mountain bike chainsets?

its mostly the old school stuff that would have been fitted with a separate spider
