the only thing i dont like about android is the format it plays video clips....would prefer avi but hayho...
works fine for me, download from iplayer in Hi Quality (using myplayer App) and then play in rockplayer.

I think rock player plays most formats.

UI quite like Android, its certainly more stable than the hIpe-Phone. And it multitasks properly.

I dont find the 1.6 that bad on the X10, but then I'm not a uber-geek who needs the very very very latest technology. Dont have a flat TV, never mind HD, have an old P4 PC, both my cars are pre-2000 and some might say my MTB is retro  I think my Sony X10 is superb, had a C905 before that and it was fine for what I did, although I'm using a lot of the new features a smart phone has given me.

Sounds like where I'm at tbh. . . .except my PC is dual-core ;)

Is it possible to play AVI on the X10??

Not looked that deeply into it, just got lazy and converted a few AVI's to MP4

Checked as yes, if you search market for "rockplayer" then this play ALL formats on X10, and other Android phones 1.6 and higher.

After saying I liked my X10, I updated it through PC companion and it lost everything!
Luckily the contacts were synced with SE website so done them but lost some apps.

Just been re-installing the apps, but lost the version of tetris i had so Frances wont be happy all here high scores of gone, and have lost my-player (I-player for Android) and cant seem to find it in the market!!!!!
