Bloody Android market

Because I have an Android phone for nearly the next 2 years. . .

And I wasn't that impressed with the Symbian OS on the N95

my mate got 2.2 working on his nexus one, doing a hack. you have ot flash the base firmware before flashing the actual android OS

High risk of house-bricking the phone.. and any warranty would be worthless if I delve deep and mess with it.. :?

Would I be out of order to suggest the words "Big Fecking Rubber" and "Mallet"??

Not at all.. you'd just be backing up my thought process

While I back up and do some stupid repair thing to this stupid phone (which I actually really like, I just don't like stuff going wonky)

I spoke to virgin the other day about a firmware update for the desire and although it has been out for 2 months they still haven't distributed it as they are still attaching their front end system. should be this month, almost 3 months to attach a logo!

Done another repair upgrade, created a new googlemail account, signed in to googlemail and talk.. and it looks like it's fixed... for now..

Had to re-import all my contacts one by one from the sim and I have to remember what extra apps I had too since they've gone now as well
