Some apps are brilliant, others are not. Unfortunately it takes a while to sort out which ones work for you.

I assume you are using Android market on your phone and not a PC

It was ok.. now I can't download anything.. it just comes up Starting download.. and stays like that.. :evil:

What handset?

Happens on my Hero occasionally.

A few things I do:
Turn off wifi, turn it back on again.
Turn on airplane mode, turn it back off again.


Sick of Android now, sick of the different version numbers... I waited ages for 2.1, I get 2.1, 2.2 comes out, apps start becoming 2.2 exclusive.

2.2 isn't coming to Hero through official channels.

Tried that.. and more.. tried everything I could Google nearly all bloody night

It's on an SE X10 . . and we're still stuck on 1.6... 2.1 would be great

Think I'm going to have to reset the thing back to factory zero-ness and start again :roll:

this says your on 2.x but being kept at 1.6

symbians the way to go

Symbian is not the way to go and I am stuck with 1.6 until O2 approve 2.1 or 2.2 possibly in late 2010...

oh thats a bit crap. but its out already, so why do they need to approve it?
why dont you like symbian?
