I don't want to preach, but I was diagnosed with cancer 5 years ago. I realised that I would happily sell all my toys in the garage to live one day longer.

I also remember going for a ride the day before my chemotherapy started and wondering if it was the last ride I would ever do.

It's all in the past, I'm better, but stuff is just stuff.

Why not get yourself a really tasty custom frame, made EXACTLY to what you want...surely there was just one little niggle with the Breezer you could improve upon?

While on the one hand stuff is just stuff and the Heckler is probably a better bike than the Breezer will ever be (slips into flame proof suit). If you've payed for it and the other stuff then I think you should reclaim it all.

Get a solicitor to write to him with an inventory of the items you own and want returned. That might be enough to scare your recluse ex in to seeing the error of his ways. It will cost you 80 or so.

This is the best advice here, especially if you can prove ownership ofthe items.

Beware though, if you have anything of his be prepared to hand it back in recompense.
