Bitter and twisted about my lost Breezer

Actually, I'll get over it, just thought I'd post this here as no-one I know appreciates what I've lost.

Basically my ex(of 18 years) ran off with my entire CD collection, an eye-wateringly expensive hi-fi system, loads of other stuff AND MY BRAND NEW NEVER BEEN BUILT UP BREEZER JET STREAM FRAME. Which I got for £200. Before you sympathise with his good taste, he ALREADY has a jet stream frame of his own, a never been used Dyna-tech MT4 complete bike, a breezer storm, and bagfuls of retro parts (including lovely machined stuff, again, never been used). All the bike tools... I'd better stop now.

My main consolation is that he's a recluse, and rarely experiences the joy of the outdoors.

I'm enjoying my new Santa Cruz Heckler BUT I WANT MY BREEZER BACK. I'll never get it, I just want it to be known that it's morally mine.

Surely there's something you can do. I know we americans are lawsuit-happy but England has to have some sort of legal recourse for you to get your stuff back?

Get a solicitor to write to him with an inventory of the items you own and want returned. That might be enough to scare your recluse ex in to seeing the error of his ways. It will cost you 80 or so.

Just so you know, his justification was that "it is, and always has been for my next girlfriend", interesting, seeing as I paid for it, but there you go. Thats a warning to any females reading this by the way.....

Could have gone legal, but it was worth just getting rid of someone with no appreciation that a Breezer should be ridden, used, loved, etc, not sitting in the corner of some saddo's flat.
