Why is Queens not live, at least on the Red button? We pay two television license fees. The BBC pay for rights to Queens. They then shove it online for anyone without a license to watch while leaving the fee payers with no tv coverage.

Why do online retailers insist on charging ridiculous prices for sending to the Highlands, even when using mail services that charge no more than for any other mainland destination?

The delivery charges thing does irritate me practically every week - particularly when things are advertised as having free delivery for mainland Britain.

Well, I live on mainland Britain - doesn't stop them claiming I don't and charging the best part of twenty quid for the delivery.

Even more irritating is the way that couriers just cop out of the "next day" promises if you have an IV postcode; Royal Mail can get stuff posted in the very south of England late in the afternoon to my door mid way through the next morning, and they charge a fraction of the price.

I wouldn't worry too much about royal mail. If Alex salmon has anything to do with it you'll be paying a customs charge also soon

If Alex Salmond (the Scottish Lex Luthor) has anything to do with it no one in Scotland will be able to afford anything ever again in an independent land where RBS alone create over 70% of the GDP.

My ex wife is the bitch of the day. Of every day in fact.

If I have anything to do with it, Alex Salmond won't be doing anything other than retiring. Unfortunately there are apparently rather a lot of delusional "romantic" patriots with gigantic chips on their shoulders in Scotland and my votes go unnoticed...

Perhaps if we get our devo max or better, we will get to watch all of Newsnight and The Daily Politics, instead of having them severed half way through.

Maybe we will get some of the warm weather that generally seems to be doled out to the South of England.

I certainly can't see us putting up with the shabby treatment we get from mail order firms.
