Al, I agree, real shame about the powder coat, as I have wanted a '97 Kila for years. Still, this one was very cheap, and there's always the option of getting it refinished in that gorgeous original blue at some point in the future....

It might be a west coast thing, but I always heard them as Dew after the legend that is Dr Dew.

There is now a bike called the Dew Drop.

I have no idea, it's just what the spec sheet (from Kona) say. I cannot find any other reference.
