Bit of a revamp on the GT

This is my dossing about on bike, Its been in the family all its life since 1992 in various disguises but seeing as i'm out of work and on the sick at the moment i thought i'd give it a bit of a revamp....Again

Last looked like this

And with the addition of some nice purchases from fellow retrobikers it looks like this, Which i think is its best guise so far.

Gone are the silver araya rims and heavyweight Kenda tyres replaced by a lovely set of Black Bontrager wheels with some Continental tyres.
Race Face riser bars and stem.
Finished off with a Decathlon carbon seat, And a splash of black paint on the seatpost.

Interesting evolution on the old Talera.

Looks pretty clean, nice to see these oldies cared for.

Does it ride well?

Comfy ride...

There's nothing quite like a comfy old ride. Nice wide bars,bet its ace for cruising too and from the pub.lol.

Don't see so many in those smaller sizes, IMHO it would be worth putting back geared with some decent light kit on it? A re spray perhaps? They ride rely well-lovely compliant ride but without lateral flex.
