sh*t the bed... I thought me and the missus on 14 bikes was silly! good work

Well I hit the hardware store for an extra 20 hooks for hanging wheels and frames this weekend. Got home installed all 20 into the basement floor joists and walla....I could have used another 20 easily. Still have frames and wheels I can't get off the ground.

Frames and the order they'll get addressed or is that dressed?

Coffee table book is in the works...maybe in time for Christmas '10.

Time has been my problem. Been working 55 hours per week and riding weather has arrived and I need to ride to keep sanity...so the frames they just a hangin around.

All my bikes are listed in my sig including stuff that isn't finished.

I think the one bike/project I'd like to get done is the Trailboss...actually riding that bike again down the trails would be a real treat :D

1955 Raleigh - Must get around to passing on . It takes up a lot of room .

Pass it this way :)

Ok... my bikes.. the ones that work..

midish 1990's Stump Jumper
Mike Morris fixed lo pro
Van Nicholas Amazon
Magura MB 08 XC
late 90's TCR ONCE
Raleigh clunker mountain bike that does the trailer towing etc
Holdsworth 531cs touring bike with Sturmey 3speed hub , my club ride bike..
Mk1 Moulton time trial special, radial spoked front wheel and AM hub etc
Mk 3 Moulton for audaxing and club rides etc

not working very well or in bits..

1930's tandem, possibly Freddie Grubb , might be for sale soon..
1940's Raleigh delivery bike ,, for sale ...
some horrid hybrid
a Carrera mtb frame that should be used as it is pretty good..
A Hawk thing that I dragged out of the ditch a couple of days ago [ breaking for spares I think
1980's tandem that is a bit bent :(
and a few odd frames I have forgotten about.. :)

Complete bikes:

*early 1970s mystery French/Italian privateer road racing frame turned single speed around town cruiser
*1982 Venus "Deluxe Finest Racer" NJS keirin bike
*1987 Trek Elance 400 rando/road
*1988 Fisher Mt Tam (TET)
*1990 Brave Warrior (TET)
*1991 Fat Monster Fat
*1993 Fat Yo Eddy
*1997 Salsa Ala Carte

Just sold frames:

*1985 Klein Mtn Klein
*1989 Brave Warrior
*1997 Yo Eddy

Still in the attic in parts or frames:

*1988 Centurion Dave Scott Expert
*1991 Fat Yo Eddy
*1994 Barracuda A2E

Aside from selling off a bunch of stuff, the Monster Fat is my current "project." Eventually I will get a new fork and a repaint for the '91 Yo, but it might have to wait a while since I cribbed most of its intended parts for the Salsa :)

I came on here looking for info while I was finding a bike to get back into riding, just one bike, only need one bike, why would I need more than one bike?

Why are there five bikes in the house?

It's something you put in my tea isn't it?

I'm putting off ordering a set of RB stickers because I fear they will arrive dusted with a fine coating of bike-crack and I'll be lost to my friends and family forever.

*1996 Ground Control (love it! my fav)
*1998 Barracuda XC (Wifebike)
*1995 Proflex 455 (Wifebike)
*1994 DBS Killimanjaro (Current project)
*1985 Rockhopper (Waiting for me to make up my mind)

I did get up to four at one point but agreed to keep it to two. In hindsight it is best really. Less things to buy for....Currently:
2002 Marin Palisades Trail
Commencal Absolut

However secreted away for a few bits and rebuilding I have a Mongoose Hooligan BMX (80% complete)

Buying back a nice Kona Hahanna I was going to SS but sold after getting an offer I couldnt refuse, tomorrow for a friend but I can see that ending up with me so could be back up to three...

How do you keep up to huge stables like that?

1989 Roberts White Spider
1990 Pace RC100
1991 Bradbury Full Suspension
1991 Yeti Ultimate
1992 Fat Chance Titanium
1993 Salsa la Raza

2007 Seven Custom

all in there own little room in the house. Quality not quantity wins out every time:
