Bikes and... wait for it, wait for it, Churches!

Yes thanks mate also notice that the top pic has no back brake and the bottom one has disc does the bottom useualy come with all the brackets etc or fabricate yourself just so i know if its something to look out for thanks for help
The bottom picture ,axel is supplied with disc brakes and is a relatively new idea . Traditional, Trikes only had two independent brakes fitted to the front . Because weight is spread between two rear wheel they tend to skid if fitted with brakes. That is a touring / winter trike I tend to use the front brake 90% of the time unless loaded or riding in snow or ice . Leaning right back behind the saddle helps a bit .

This one's another big one – St John's Church, Ranmoor, Sheffield. It's fairly local to me, so I took a small detour on the way home. It was built in 1879, but the main body of the church burnt down only 8 years later (did the locals do something to displease God? ;)) , leaving only the tower and spire remaining. The church was rebuilt and reopened in 1888. The spire is the second highest in Sheffield, with only the Catholic cathedral being taller (and only 5ft taller, at that). More than a bit of a show of industrial wealth, I'd say.

The other notable thing about this church is that it was Michael Palin's local church, where his father was a bellringer. It's just down the hill from his childhood home. The size of this church tells you Ranmoor was (and is) a pretty well-to-do area.
