bike radar forum is it me or

i put some tyres on the for sale thread on bike radar and put a link to what one's they are from the ritchey parts site and put that they are almost new only 3 rides old and all info i could. i checked the for sale forum this morning and its been removed stating i have to have a pic of the actual tyres so i take it i cant just put a link to what the product is as there like new i have to have actual pics :roll:

Very OTT over on Bikeradar....I had a right ding-dong with one of the moderators....not as I had broken any of their rules...but because he was editing my posts to save his stupid face

The rules in the classified section on BR does state that you have to have pics of the actual parts you are selling, not just ones pulled off t'web.

Guess it's because folks have been ripped off with shoddy goods not matching the description.

Makes sense to me, if I'm buying something I want to see the actual product.

The mods are ok, but if you don't read the rules & play by the rules expect a post or topic to be deleted or amended, it is one of the largest UK MTB forums & as such it has a stricter set of rules than this place, which is very easy going as forums go.

Loads of little scammers on there hence the pics rule.

The amount of people I get offering 10% of the items value is more annoying.
