Just a regular month for January so let's see what's been finished off during the holidays......

Useful for the poll if you can structure your nomination as follows:

username's Year Manufacturer Model , e.g. John's 1990 Kona Lavadome
Image(s) MAXIMUM OF 2
Finally please include a link to your machine in the relevant Reader's Bikes section. If you don't have an existing post now is the time to add one with as much detail as you like!

Nominations thread will run for the entire month. Entries submitted after January 31st will not be counted. The poll will go up shortly after the nominations close and will run for a week.

No real build thread to speak off, but a quote to start things off..............." Strong, Light, Cheap....Pick Two ".

Sinnermans Bontrager 1996/7

Bontrager, with RockShox, Mavic, IRC, Titec, M950.

Pictures of this weekends ride, captured to emulate Keith's Minimalist approach to his original advertising, not that there was ever much, but i hope he will see the Humour.

Re:

There are quite a few Mavic 330 seat posts on eBay at the moment depending on what size post you need, would finish that off nicely

I could kive with that...

Mate, they are great bikes to ride aren't they, this weekends ride in Cornwall, on a trail that took us past some pre-war derelict buildings, for decades of riding the same trail, the buildings were always hidden from view with vegetation and fencing. Now all cut back to reveal what you see above, inside them. The Alien picture is inside an abandoned World War 2 building now flooded that held Oil. The alien Image was reported to have been there and hidden from view for over a decade. I couldn't help but Share, and as I was on the Bontrager for the first time, it simply made me think of His adverts BITD.

Despite minimal advertising Bitd, what he did turn out, clearly had a lasting effect on me and did the job intended.
