Bike numbers going down...ish.

Yes that is what I want to get to. I realised that the bikes I ride regularly are constantly being fettled by me so everything works as a like it, brakes are sharp, gears changes are crisp and the tyres are at the correct pressure. Riding one of my favourite bikes yesterday for the first time this year, I first had to pump up the tyres, then when I rode it, the disc brakes squealed and the down shifts were sticky. I think this would not have happened were I riding it regularly.
That is another thing, if you have a number of bikes you use regularly, there is often work to be done. I have had some stuff breaking too recently. Luckily it was all repairable.

UPDATE:

Numbers going down rapidly!

Now down to 25 bikes and my spreadsheet tells me that since May 5th I have sold/traded/given away 24 bikes. I have the next 8 earmarked for sale. Watch this space...

At least drop bars take up less space than flats, with some clever 'tetris" like storage and a bit of tarpaulin i may be able to cover my tracks before my Wife returns🤞🤞
