Bike lock recommendations

I’m after a decent bike lock for my e-bike , the chances of it getting pinched if I even pop into a shop are high because of it being electric. Does anyone have any recommendations for one .

hard to argue with the kryptonite.
other option is an onguard bulldog/pitbull, or abus granit.

Ive got a gold sold secure chain, but it so bloody heavy i don't take it anywhere! So pointless really.

I've always used Kryptonite, along with their additional cables (even if not needed due to non QR wheels as they are a good deterrent). Heavy but effective.

I got one of these after a spate of angle grinder-assisted thefts locally. It's supposed to be the world's first grinder-resistant lock. Made out of some graphene composite. It's heavy - I leave it where I park regularly - but just about portable - especially on an e-bike. £250 though....

No lock is theft proof.

Ideally something visible to help with the deterrent aspect, as that is what they are actually good for.

the goal of any lock is to make your desirable bike less desirable to steal than the bike next to it.

with this in mind I've started carrying a card board cut out of an unlocked Specialized with me everywhere I go.
