Bike Jumbles Yorks

Can anyone help with info on the jumbles which used to be at Cottingham & South Hunsley school - are they still running? Dates for 2017 would be very helpful. Thanks, Julian

Shame as I always picked up some stuff there


There was one also in Cottingham
Cyclemania run by a different chap but that seems to have gone as well.
Marc or Will had a chat with them for this Cott. one and iirc he couldn't get enough definite takers for it.
I think the last one was two years ago

Thanks for the info - that`s a shame. I would have though round Hull would have generated enough interest to keep them going. I see Bygone Bikes have one coming up at Birdwell later in the year so might manage that one. Best wishes, Julian

The Hunsley School one was discontinued because the school became an 'Academy' and didn't want such events in its premises. Very sad as I always liked them and also did well with sales!

There's one on May 20th in Sheffield in the church.

Have they looked at any of the other schools, there is Hull Collegiate it not far down the road and easy access from the road, bridleway and the Humber bridge.
As for costs, I do not know though.

It's on the outskirts of Anlaby, just off the big road to Beverley.

Also some of the Beverley ones are known to host events.
