Anybody got a Bickerton Portable, the original non welded box section aluminium model with ape hanger bars 
If you do, do you ride it, can you forgive its foibles and what if any upgrades have you done ?
I bought one out of curiosity as in the past I owned a Brompton which I reluctantly sold some years past.
I am pleasantly surprised, it rides great, gearings good now I reduced it a bit, it fits me a 2 meter tall giant perfectly. Admittedly the flexy bars are at first disconcerting but if you stay seated it is less of an issue. Folds very small and is pretty lightweight.
I am now a Bickerton fan, mind you still need to put a few miles in !
