BFPO Shipping?

Has anyone shipped to a BFPO overseas address using RM special delivery?

I sold something of reasonably high value on ebay at the weekend and have been given a BFPO address in Akrotiri with a UK address in Ruislip to ship to. Can this be signed for and tracked in the normal RM way? It's verified by paypal so meets the requirements but I am a little unsure if it can be tracked in the normal way and if there will be additional costs too. I have tried emailing the buyer but have been met with silence so far.
I won't ship it if it cannot be tracked as I don't fancy losing the money if it goes wrong. I will just refund the money and ask for a confirmed UK address or i will cancel the transaction as the auction wasn't open to overseas buyers.

I think you need 'HM Forces Special Delivery' if you want a signed delivery. The Royal Mail hands their post over to the British Forces Post Office so I don't think it gets signed for as a Royal Mail letter. Someone may correct me on that.
