Finally left the confines on Battlefield 2 and logged on to the new title in the series[hopefully the prequel to BF3]
As usual on all new games.You're the noob and most likely to die first as you dont have a clue where you are or what direction you're meant to be moving in.
Bad company maps dont help you out in this and make it hard to work out where the enemy is and how you're going to find them,there doesnt seem to be a defined front line :? ,coupled with a constantly smoke drifting everywhere obscuring your vision,they've also added swirling dust clouds to hamper you yet further :x
Next gripe- I prefer to play the role of sniper and BC2 has some amazing maps that seem destined to become sniper only servers,the problem is that the sniper no longer can go prone, crouch yes,but sneak on your belly up through the bushes to blow out some unsuspecting souls brain-NO :evil:

No jets,and thank god for that,i could never fly worth a damn anyway ,helicopters they have but EA have decided to make these really easy to aim but incredibly difficult to fly :?
Totally destructible environment,great addition to any game
Overall,despite the fact i dont last longer than 30 seconds and cant see a damn thing then when i do find somewhere shady and sheltered to snipe from, some bugger blows it up.It's quite a good game
Graphics are really nice [max'd out]

A bit like counterstrike meets far cry2 :?

PC aint good enough to run it at the min, requires a dual core processor which i dont own.

if you want a server to play on for BFBC2 you'd no doubt be welcomed onto my clans server and wednesday, friday or sunday.

http://www.mortal-souls.com altho it says BF2 server IP on the front page i'm pretty sure its the BFBC2 server IP as they are all playing it these days.

Well i knew you'd be there chap
To be honest im warming to it,got a couple of good games where you have to destroy something them the bases move up.
Had a more defined battlefront which i prefer over the deathmatch kind of play,which fr me gets very boring very quick. .
I didnt see a battlefield editor :? or any way to play/practice alone on create game,is there one or do you just have to find an empty server and hope no one joins

i play this on ps3....i am evil with the snipers rifle...i just love doing headshots...watching the little white blob shoot off...arcing nearly a km and BOOM....another victim....my best score for 1 map was just short of 10 000 points..i have the extra sa stuff so i blend a bit better...fav weapon is is the rcv ....you can run people over with this...ooooh how i laugh at them trying to run away...mwahahahah

2x5000 points for being very good with specific weapons..ie 4 headshots in ten seconds(that was a good day)...ect...you get awarded these bonus points thingies and i managed to do it twice in one level...(farm).my 2 best shots happened on that level.first was i head shot a guy who was hiding on the lumber factory roof when i was at the spawn point at the other end of the site.sun was in my eyes but i got him...186 points bnus for headshot.
second best was a double headshot from the spawn point down to the farm...watched these two guys moving and waited for when they kept swapping places.at the right mo from the other end i estimated time for travel,dip of bullet ect and the wallop....double jam sponged them both.funnier than dropping a building on them..(my 3rd fav)

Points for console players, apparently a game isnt worth playing if you dont finish a round with 99 gazillion points with stars and flashy lights around it.

they are actually trophies that add points for promotion but i see what ya meen...ps my tv is 42 inch hd what size is the squintovision(tm) monitor you use ....do you have to look reeeeal hard to see the bad guy/green pixel or is an aimbot ya best buddy....
