Hi folks... I am having trouble and instead of just guessing or going hand tight I would like to know what the Torque setting is for the Main Bottom Pivot on my bike when I have the BETD kit? Anyone have an idea?

Things I need:
Main Pivot Torque (BETD Kit) (6 mm bolt)
Crank Arm Torque (8 mm bolt)

any other torque I can use safely...

Also what needs blue loctight before torque? I see some say use oil and never loctight and others say use loctight??

Thanks friend... For whatever reason they don't list the FP/IP of torque on that PDF... Not sure why.

I torqued the Crank Arms to 28 FP which is same as 336 inches pound force... you think that's right?

interested in any other safe torque setting I can use as well... this makes it quick and easy to tune the bike up if I know a number to hit each time.

And I didn't use oil, grease or loctight... as I just couldn't find anything telling me for sure.

thanks for taking the time to help me...

Re:

The torque is depending of wich kind of crank arms you have. If it's normal square taper, that will be enough. (Presuming I converted correctly that 28fp to 37Nm.)

I don't know exactly that betd bearing system but if it's 6mm bolt I would say ~12Nm. And you can use a drop of blue loctite on the threads if you like.

yup...

28 foot pounds =

37.9629026 newton meters

Any idea on the BETD main pivot? I sent them an email... but I am sure there busy.
