Best springs available for a Judy? 95/96

Thanks for all the replys, I think I will get some Kronos springs after ive pulled them apart, Im just hopping the stantions are ok inside the fork (they look ok above the wipers)

'Back in the day' I ran Speedsprings with my Judy's - I found two springs pogoed as above so hit on the idea of one spring and one stack of elastomers.

Does sound a good compromise, I'll have to see what the internals look like as Ive not had them apart yet. Just hopping the damper isnt badly screwed! Ive not seen Speed Springs advertised anyware, can remember them bitd too. Thought about getting some for a pair of quadra 5s I had or wishing they made them for that fork (cant remember if they did or not).

Literally have just sold a set of unused Quadra 5's...

Best of luck sorting them out though.

Thanks, I saw yours, then dug mine out, look nice on the wall in the garage, there only for ornament use though as the bushings have gone, cue front and back movement, but they still work well.

Bit of a bargain here...

...tempted myself

I'm as sure as I can be that the only difference between the two models is the diameter of the damper rod? It has a larger Allen bolt securing it to the lower leg, but all you would need to do would be to drill the hole out to match?

Otherwise the internals are identical...

TFTuned don't work on 20th century forks, haven't done for some time.

The 95 Judy damper can be replaced with a 96, but I'm pretty sure 97 onwards won't fit the stanchions.

Since tim left you mean...
