Best place to get wheels built up?

You only need a spoke key and a bit of time....Use your frame as a jig..Lacing them up your self would save a bit of cash if you wanted to get you LBS to tension and true

I find this site good for spoke sizes for retro kit. Just type in your hubs and rims, number of holes and build pattern ...usually 3 cross

Spoc calc is easier to use and works very well. Download it as excel spreadsheet from sheldon brown.

Okay - I've decided to give it a try :shock:

erd is 519.6 (from which I assume a deep V section). To check use two old spokes with elbows cut off and a nipple threaded on to give a set length on each. Insert in two opposite holes and measure gap between the two ends - so plus the spoke lengths equals the erd!
