I love decorating to a degree, but usually have to fork out for a plasterer to skim walls before painting. As I'm not earning at the moment, and as the last room we had plastered started to crack audibly a few weeks after finishing the painting (hairlines everywhere), I'm wondering if anyone can recommend a paint or product that is good at covering cracks before adding a top coat.
I'm not looking for perfection, the walls in question are ok in the main, mostly looking to cover small gouges and scrapes, I'll use filler where it's needed for any actual cracks.
Cheers all.
