best mud tyres

hi all need some good mud tyres but not too wide what do you recomend

I asked thus a while back and was recommended panaracer xc fire pros at 1.8 or ritchey wcs 1.7 I went fior the ritcheys and am happy. Still,looking fir a cheap pair of Panaracers to try.

would love to move to Arizona but then i would have to ask about good sand tyres !!

Bontrager Mud X if you can get em... or Panaracer Cinder...

What width tire is best for mud, is it wider the better, or do narrower tires cut though the dirt?

I would go thinner on my 29er summer tyres were 2.25" mud tyres 2"...
