best bike smell/sound/sight/taste?.

Love the smell of new inner tubes- now before you all jump in with the rubber fetish jibes, it make me feel all hovis inside- anyone else have a sight, sound, smell or indeed taste :? that brings back fond biking "remembrance of things past" (like the proust reference )

i wonder if gt95 put any science into the smell or if thats just how it ended up.

for me the smell of tyres in a hot shed.

Just the smell of bike shops (tyres, new bikes, GT-85) can bring the memories flooding back. After working in one for a couple of years I stopped noticing the smell which made me sad, but now, a few years away from the shop it is back, which makes me happy.

Used to use GT85 all the time when I worked in a bike hire place for a summer. For some reason I've always used WD40 at home & that's a great smell but GT85 is far better!

Taste would have to be that energy drink powder stuff - Hi-5? Not had that in years.
