Yeah, I had some 2008 SID's and although the dual air system is great, the wheel doesn't track too well

That's why I fancy the REBA's, should be a similar feel without the flex.

I Had a pair of Reba Teams a couple of years ago, they where always reliable, I would definetly recommend them. As for Fox, I have a pair of Float RLCs and they are awesome, I've had absolutely no issues with them. I think some people forget that any fork needs servicing occasionally. They are more expensive then RS though, I would go with the Rebas with a Maxel Light.

Speaking of which, does anybody know if the 2009 Sid is less flexy with the maxel?

Fox would be my 1st priority. RS second. I wouldn't even consider Manitou or Marzocchi.

I've got Fox F100RLT and F130XTT on my bikes and they both work flawlessly. Had before a Talas R and worked superbly as well.

Reba or Fox (if you can afford them)

Used both, the reba's (100mm Race) were (slightly) stiffer & more adjustable, the Fox (Float R130 & R140) are plusher.

2008 SIDs are flexy,not the new 32mm stantion versions,after previous experiance of Magura forks,no thanks.

I think i read enough positive comments about the REBA to make my mind up. Top-spec Fox Forx would be great, but this build doesn't have the budget. So, these are on their way

Good choice,you ain't gonna go wrong with a Reba and the new ones are even stiffer than before

Like the Fox Float RLCs that I have had for 4 years, been serviced at least once every year and have consistently leaked oil through the top of the sliders? Or like the Marzocchi MX Comps (air) that have been on my singlespeed for 9 years, ridden nearly every week through the winters, raced at Beastway every year since 2002, had 1 service in all that time and don't leak but do still work at least as well as the Fox forks?
