1992-1994 Bertolo mountain bike with a complete first generation XTR M900 gruppo.

Its small - 16 inch c 2 c. Too small for me at 5.11

The XTR is all present and correct, including cassette, cable outers, brake blocks and skewers.

The transmission has very little wear and the bike shifts and brakes very nicely. A few light scratches on the crank(right arm) and derailleur but that's about it.

The frame was custom made, i believe, at the small Bertolo shop in Verona.

The tubing on the frame and fork is Columbus Genius made from nivacrom steel. The fork is a unicrown. It`s a small size frame, and the good news is that it doesn`t have dings or cracks, apart from a few spots where the paint chipped.

The genius tubeset is superb - the bike rides so well - exactly as you would expect a high quality steel rig too, light, responsive, lively - I love it

The bike has good Mavic rims and the total weight of the bike is about 10 kg.

Hi quality Specialised finishing kit, red leather saddle with ti rails by the looks of it, stem and bars all light.

Will happily stick the Red Ground Zero tyres back on too if the buyer prefers - removed as they wouldn't look quite so nice in the mud we have at the moment!

I bought this from a chap in Romania, which put the paint colours into context.

I'm selling as its too small for me. Would like to get back what I paid so £480.

Prefer collection/meet up but will post at cost (but will need a bit of time)

Re:

Hi, is this bike still going to the US or would you consider splitting it, I might be interested in frame and forks if you could take a few measurements for me. I'd like to know the effective top-tube (horizontal) length and a stand-over height. Cheers.

Re:

Full sizing, in inches, is

seat tube c2c 16
seat tube c2t 17
top tube c2c 21.5
virtual/horizontal tob tube c2c 22

head tube overall 4
