Yea, those shipping fees are for ups and at the time when I placed the ad I wasn't aware of other shippers. I looked at DHL Express and found them to be much less. If you're and international buyer pm me and I will give you a much better shipping quote.

If you split the bike up into 2 boxes, frame set in one and wheels in another, it should be about $100-125us to ship USPS International. The only downside is that you do not get full insurance on the bike. I think they only will give $100 in insurance.
