bart brentjens s-works M2

So I've picked up a S-works M2 in Bart Brentjens 'special edition' gold colour. Does anyone know if he actually had a gold one or they just produced a gold one to celebrate his Olympic win??

Cant find a pic of a built bike (think it was sold as frameset only) but seam to remember he run slightly different set up to rest of Specialized team, Magura brakes being main difference. Anyone know more or got some pics?

I believe Bart raced to Olympic gold on an orange American Eagle. After that Specialized contracted him.

Thanks but that's just a built up frame....its the one I'm talking about but interested to know if the one he rode was gold or just done in gold the year after due to 96 win? Think it was TBH.

Ahh that might be why I'm having trouble......bit cheeky to produce a gold M2 if he didn't ride for them at the time of win!

Good work, thanks for link.

That tells me about the spec and use of Maguras, seam to remember him running an M2 with those and gripshift that the rest of team did'nt.
