Bugger, I thought I was going to be given a chance to buy this. If anything else comes your way please bear me in mind, I'm looking for a bike in Belfast. Cheers.

what happened-if anyone really cares-is that when i was dismantling it for packing after the first sale i discovered the rear mech hanger was bent AND twisted(never seen one twisted before),and the mech itself was only screwed in a few threads and wouldnt go in any further....totally my fault for not noticing when i gave the frame the once over when i bought it to build up a few weeks before(probably too excited at the price of the frame....sucker me).it was sold to a member on here who shall remain nameless(you know who you are!),so after i found out the probs i explained everything to him and sent him pics of the damage, also offered him a full refund, which he accepted with my apologies(and if youre reading this many thanks again for being so cool about it all...im still suitably embarrassed).
so the hanger now has been straightened and rethreaded, and a new freewheel bought and fitted as well as a new 8 speed SRAM ESP rear mech bought and fitted and set up too.guess what?that cost money...too much money in my opinion!
so after all that i offered it to the original buyer and another retrobiker who was interested too before sticking it back on that awful auction site again at the new price which, yes, obviously was influenced by all your valued opinions and some further research...AND the extra money spent on it!It is running sweetly now,no issues whatsoever.....and between us the acceptance price on the best offer is fair as im sick looking at it in my kitchen as its too good AND too wee for me!
check my feedback thread on here or the 'bay if you think im a bad boy.im not!
