manitou steerer

hi, i am interested in the manitou steerer..I just need to know a few things..

I have a set of manitou answer 3 forks with a 1 inch steerer, will the steerer you have be compatible with my model of forks? and is the steerer threaded?

the steerer isnt threaded,im not sure about Manitou 3's as ive never owned a set as to if their steerers are push fitted into the crown :?

yeah..i've looked at it ..looks like a push in type deal, but i have never taken apart one of these before...i'll look into it a bit more tomorrow morning.. i am definitely interested though..the hole in the fork is only 1 inch, the steerer you are selling, is it a 1 inch insertion piece expanding out to 1.1/8? I don't know..this is something i am not familiar with...
