Sorted Bar extenders

Has anybody got an old pair of 20mm bar extenders knocking about. Ideally controltech terminators or similar?

Having used the ControlTech's I'm now on these as they are similar but better value for money imo. Might be too long for your needs however as they add 10cm but for me that often works better. If you shop around you can get them cheaper than the example below as well.

Or try the DIY approach… stick a wine cork halfway in each end of the bar and wrap some gorilla tape around it. I use this method on one of my bikes and it works a treat. I use ODI attack grips.

Cheers both. 10cm is far too long for this. Really only need 20mm.

I did think of turning some oak ones and just banging them in. But to honest the times worth more than the £12

@gtturbo how far down the hole is the hex? Just wondering if i could cut them off if the head isn't right at the far end?

Would be interested to know this too as 100mm would be too much. Those eBay ones are far better value than the ControlTech Terminators and certainly look like they could be trimmed down…

100% you could cut these down. The bolt is at the far end so plenty to work with. Hard to picture but hopefully you can see here.

Actually they are 100mm added total. So 50mm each side. The quill is 40mm.

Thanks @gtturbo looks like you've found a better value alternative to the ControlTech's. Think I'll order some and check them out @Tootyred, will probably end up not trimming them down at all!
