Bank transfers from Europe

Is there a charge for this?

I recollect there could be when making an IBAN transfer (Europe to UK)

not sure about incoming, but i just recently tried to make an outgoing one to france and where there wasn't a charge previously, this year France was charging the recipient to receive a bacs payment from the UK.

I have never been charged for incoming International Bank Transfers

I was charged £7 by Natwest for incoming about a year ago.

I remember sending euros in the post to Germany as it was cheaper.

That was on ebay, but a must be 4 years ago now. Wouldn't do the same now!
