Today's group retro ride made up in quality, what it lacked in quantity.
Still, the three of us had a really good ride, I think.
Starting up in Highdown with some 11ses, at around 9.30 :facepalm:
While I worked out the route. Soon Godders turned up on his 'Dale,
Swiftly followed by Andyz with his lovely Roberts, freshly built!
So, coffee and cake consumed , by me at least, we started off. Riding through Angmering Park Estate, taking in the bluebells as we went,
Then through Amberley, and up towards Whiteways woods, and more coffee!
Rather busy here, unsurprisingly! It was a glorious day!
Was really quiet in here, only saw one other rider.
Some nice twisty, technical singletrack
A bit shaky on my rigid, but I survived intact!
'So, where now?' Well, you see that big hill on the horizon? :shock: :shock:
. . . . . We're going around it!
Fantastic scenery around here
At which point, the other two were starting to get a bit quiet. So I thought it best to head straight for the cafe again before there was a mutiny! Much to Godder's relief!
All in all, a great days' riding , in great weather and even better company, thanks lads
