Whats good ?

I want to use my bike to comute on nice days and whilst I would normally wear lycra its defo not an option when I work in an office full of women ...

I had a ride around the block at weekend (on the BV  ) and just had my normal 'weekend' shorts on - hated them - no padding and the legs were catching on the seat QR :?

So what do you recomend ?

Cheers,

WD :D

I love Endura Humvee's, fairly close fitting but stretchy at the knees and rear belt line, come with removable lycra inners too.

This!

(got some on now :) )

Aldi ~£8 next time they have them, I have some brown one's quite fitted over the legs and just below the knee. They also do some shorter ones.
Removable padding inner short just like the more expensive ones.

Been doing me well for quite some time.

Otherwise look at the Singletracks, there a tailored baggy short if you don't mind spending a lot more for a similar thing.

Of course 'fit' will vary depending on your body size

Lidl have just had some shorter short versions in, but doubt you'll find any left unless you're XL.

Quality product. I have one pair that are 12 years old and I'm looking at retiring them now.

Quite like the look of some of them 8) but don't know anywhere local to try try on :-(

Just put a pair of normal baggy shorts over your lycra, that's what all the cool kids do! (me )

It might be worth me going and having a look ...

Aldi's - are they worth waiting for ? i.e. How often am I likely to wait until they get another batch ? Don't want to miss 'summer' ...

Lots of votes for the humvee's - might go and have a look thanks 8)

As we have got onto budget stuff - does sports direct do anything in the karrimor range ?

I use Scott , very good for all kind of sports , I do more running than cycling in them .
