Azonic DS-1 Build progress

I picked up a DS-1 late last year off this website and it was a black one, I never really did like the black ones and used to have a silver one when I was 17 (back in 99)

....so, out came the nitromorse, wire wool, stanley knife and autosol

about 14 hours later, she has a new lease of life!!!

looks much better hey? Im going to build it up with a mixture of fairly modern stuff and a few older bits, it is going to be like a trail bike with a full set of gears aiming to go for an all silver/black/grey colour scheme, maybe a little bit of red here and there...

My mate wrapped one into a tree with a set of Rockshox judy XL triple clamps...

It was in 2 pieces after that!!! I'm not going to hammer this bike too hard

Aussie World Cup racer. Silver Z.1s, Profile cranks, Rhynolites?, MRP?, might have had v-brakes... I assume it was his DS bike, but it's better known as his street/dirt jump bike in a few videos from around that time.
