The ONLY Kona that got caught my interest in the shop back in 1999 when I was a wee 20 something...

Was it worth a 350 mile, 7 hour round trip to collect? I dont know...

I also feel a bit guilty at the purchase price....

Not far off original equipment - sadly lost its Avid Arch Rivals but with the addition of XT/ 317 disc wheels, I think I can put discs on this without too much guilt.

Its also got the original Race Face Turbines in yellow...

Sad thing is, now I have it, somethings got to go to make way for it. :cry:

a few more pics after putting on a period XT rear mech, a Deore f.mech to allow for extra clearance for the granny ring and LX Vs on the rear.

A crappy cable disk beats the even worsererer Promax V brakes.
