***AVOID*** eBay Seller "glendinningparker"

Seems to be mixed opinions on here re: shill bidding.

It takes it to a new level though when the seller puts a bid on his own item immediately after you have just messaged him with a question regarding it!!!

He had over 100 items for sale at one point tonight. So far there is an eBayer ID with a rating of (2) who has 100% bidding activity with this seller over the last 30 days - they have bid on 84 separate items a total of 147 times!!!!

I thought I could use the situation to my advantage, so once I established what he was doing I messaged him to try to make a deal on a few of his items, as he only lives round the corner and I could save loads on P&P - not had any response to my last 5 messages having received immediate responses earlier...

Just checked the couple of items I won from this seller recently, the suspected shill bidder earnt him an extra £1.20 from me, and the seller grumbled I got a good deal and wouldn't combine postage :|

I'd be messaging him to ask for a refund just on principle.

You mean this seller, you link for me just list loads of books.
No idea on the seller, but postage is steep. I can see why you would want it combined.
I'd ask for the separate deliveries

I live round the corner from him but won't be paying him a visit anytime soon to collect my items!

HE HAD A LOAD OF QUALITY BOTTOM BRACKETS UP THE OTHER WEEK, oops, all went very high IMO. im suprised he is not a member on here, and that being in Birmingham i have not had dealings with him at some point. Seems to be either a hoarder or a strip and flipper .

will avoid in future, cant stand shill diding, be it a penny or a pound its just plain wrong. his postage is just silly too
