Avid Levers "Ultimate Silver Ops"

i just picked up a set (sorry, not for sale) for the king kahuna...totally unbranded but definitely the real thing. split from a set of arch supreme linear-pulls as i understand it. is that they only way the silver was available?were they always unlabelled?

they are jewels, for sure. best feature is the 'speed dial' leverage adjuster (which you can get on much less costly levers as well)...i run a disc in front (BB7) and v's in the rear (avid ultimate) and can really dial in the lever feel individually, so as to make the different brakes feel almost identical.

I don't believe any of these were branded. These are not the ones that were mated to the first years of the avid arch supremes. The ones mated to the first year of the avid arch supremes looked like their normal ones, except all silver and with Ti bits; sweet as well, but not as robust with look and features, as the next set of Ultimates as you have pictured.

Everything else you say is spot on; makes me want to hold on to them

Yes, the ones from the kona are exactly, what I'm looking for...

I already ride a black ultimate with the black levers, but for my CD I need the silver ones for the archs... (luxury problems)
