Hi,

Just got some nice supremes but the friction bearings shown in the red circle are preet rough.

Tried to disassemble the brake arms but (ofcourse) I do not have the special tool to loosen the sealed bearings so I can not take it apart all the way. Anyone has a few tips to solve my rough friction bearings?
Dripped oil and white lightning all over with no luck....

You must have the tool to loosen the bearing housing, no way around it. The tool is even harder to come by than the brakes. Ironically, Avid used to sell it for about $4 a piece BITD, guess few people felt the needs for maintenance so there aren't many of the tools around.

I've done complete overhaul of two sets of these brakes if you ever need help with instructions...see my signature, I damaged one at my first try, learned things the hard way.
