As you say it is in very good condition and as others point out the ones that have sold for the most have had the correct matching forks which yours does not have.

The price is very strong and you are unlikely to reach anywhere near that even with the condition.

That said , hey it's your bike you can ask for it whatever you want and it doesn't hurt on the first listing to go big and see if you get any bites.

Values are subjective but eBay is a great gauge. I for one am tuned in to see what it pulls.

FWIW, I've seen the bike and it's a minter.

The price does not offend me. After all, that is only the BIN, it is not as though it is a fixed price.

Anyone genuinely interested will set their own value, and bid accordingly.

If it genuinely has never been refinished that is a rare thing.

They ride much bigger than the frame size suggests, so there is a larger market for it than one might think.

I used to be over 6 2 and used to dispatch on a wee one in London, though I was barely ever in the saddle which I had set low.
