It's all a load of crap, don't worry about the content its about the presentation skills.

Pretty much, but what if he can ace the presentation skills and added bonus that he does a damn good job along with it?

So you assume it's a he, that's where you start to go wrong.

If someone signs their post "John" it's a reasonable assumption that it's a man.

take a drink of water ....use it to sip now and then and use the time to collect your thoughts....


or spend 2 min 58 secs having a drink at the beginning.

if it was me id take a rubik cube and show the solve inprogress...

i have to talk all the time and once you get going its very easy...loads of eye contact,lots of exuding confidence...above all be prepared..no umming ...ect.

Oh of course, back to the 1800'si, i just though mtb would be more appropriate as an 'area of expertise' for the OP.

Without wishing to confuse John with too many topics, if the job is business biased, how about the history of British cycling and how it missed out on the MTB boom. Plenty of examples of how we led the World but then got overtaken e.g. The once great Raleigh.
