Arran 2nd-9th june - anyone about?

We're coming on a family holiday for that week (with another family), hoping to squeeze the bike into the car. I've got a passport for at least one day's riding. Is anybody in the area around then fancies a ride? There will be two of us (the two dads).

they arran bike groups trails west of lamlash are really nice, you are in the trees for a lot of it but you can see across the bay at the top, lovely place.

Are you doing some hill walks too, Central hills are meant to be good...

Coastal walk up near Laggan Cottage is nice too, you can ride up to Laggan cottage but it gets pretty rough after that.
We followed the path over the hill to at that point, tough climb/push but nice descent on the other side down to the pub at Lochranza - deer wander around the village there.
