ARGH....item never received from EBay'r (UK)

I have just received some items back that I posted to Canada. As a rule on all parcels I send I just put house number and postcode and country as my return address. The one to Canada was no different, however that came back to me because it had not been accepted by Canadian Customs - No full name. I was not warned by the PO so it has cost me another £11 for special delivery to send it again.

Just another reason why things may not get through.

I have bought from 12-28 a few times..

Always had items sent on time. VERY well packed..

Infact. I asked him if I could buy a wheelset just before Christmas and pay on Christmas day, I also requested him to have them too me before newyears. He got them Couriered on the 27th 24 hour courier though it stated 48 hour. No extra charge and very well packed.

I'm sure they'll show up in time. But if you're really worried I'd suggest you dispute with Paypal so you have the option to raise the issue level to get a refund if they don't show up.

The limit is 45 days.....It is the equivalent of a Credit Card chargeback or NOTHING in this case.

Pretty sure I've bought bike bits off 12-28 on ebay - without incident, because I can't remember any issues.

Moved to Off Topic.

12-28 does seem to be a big time trader of retro bit on ebay. No idea who he / she is, certainly not aware if they are a banned user from here.

I've met 12-28 through a purchase from him on eBay and he was great. Helped me with some bike probs and followed up with some extra spares I was missing. All in all a very decent chap.

Whether he's on RB or not doesn't seem to be the right point of discussion. Given his exemplary feedback on eBay and the number of postings above of straight dealings with him, the only differential is that the forks were being shipped outside of the uk. Smells of touchy customs peeps to me.

Hope you get it sorted out.

I've had problems with stuff not turning up from 12-28 and also the radio silence you mention, I threatened him with a dispute and he refunded me the money pretty much instantly.....although without an apology.

I personally wouldn't deal with him again.

He seems to have removed his feedback from EBay. I have sent him 2 emails and he hasn't responded to either one. I paid £42.50 for the forks. I am asking for half of it back. I really don't think that is unreasonable.

ARGH!!!

ARGH!!!
If you paid, and haven't received anything, shouldn't you get it all back?
