Are these chain rings toast?

Just rooting around the stockpile of parts for a nicer crank to put on my Dawes Galaxy.
This is the one I was looking for (Ofmega Vantage triple) that I was given many years ago.
However looking at the chain rings (big and middle) there is either a section of "specially shaped" teeth opposite each other or these are areas of wear and the rings need replacing.
What does the retrobike massive think?
Cheers

I was just doing some googling to see if the Ofmega chainsets had some firm of shifting ramps.....

Cheers. That is the same thing I did and it doesn't look like they did (hence this thread). But there is no guarantee the rings are original? I may just fit them and see how they work out.
