Are Rocky Mountains Built in Canada?

Thanks for the help. I'll try to find the serial on the bb shell.
Also, fwiw, I'm pretty certain that my 91 Blizzard that Woody now owns has a serial starting with an I.

Probably no help here but here are a couple shots of my 93 Blizzard.

Tough to see in my picture but the bottom bracket shell (which, btw is a nice TR) has B00033 stamped. I assume the B refers to Blizzard.

I've also heard that DeKerf might have welded some of these, not sure if that is true or not.

Very similar to my '94 Altitude. Same TR bottom bracket :)

More than likely. Chris did work for RM, REK TEK, and ORT to name a few.

The B signifies a homebuild, as does RMB for blizzards iirc.
I am also lead to believe the 93 are farmed out to dekerf. A pm/email to may confirm/deny that.

DeeEight seems to have a good knowledge on this sort of stuff.

The 93 blizzard info is also on the old newsgroups of that era.

My '91 hammer and '92 blizzard both have serial number beginning with I and there are some atrocious welds on these, especially the hammer. They look cold and are lumpy as well in some of the hard to reach spots. On the other hand the '93 Edge which has a serial number starting with E and then an 0 and the rest ground off. Those welds look a touch hot in places, but clearly the edge was not made in the same facility as the other two.

My 92 steel vertex also has the TR logo stamped into the BB shell... the seial number is hand punched because it's crooked and does not line up... it starts with a "V" so I assume that means Vertex...
