Are Cross Max Easy to True?

Could be a question for Cannondale King. I have a set of Mavic Cross Max SL's on the Bontrager. The rear one went out slightly on the last Cannock meet. As there is a meet there again next week, (don't I get out a lot!!!) I thought I had better try and true it.
I can see now that I need a special sort of spoke key, but my question is this. My wheel skills aren't too good. I tighten the spokes on the opposite side to pull the rim over. I may slacken the spokes on the other side as well. This generally worked BiTD with the 32 spoke wheels I had then.
Can I do the same with these? I don't want to make the problem worse. Am I better off taking it to my LBS? The 'buckle' is no worse than 2mm.

Thanks wheel experts!

there really easy to true as long as you use a mavic spoke support to hold the spokes low down to stop them twisting so you only end up turning the nipple (ooowww nipple sorry tangent there) and not twisting the spoke and sping it little but often you cant go wrong really 8)
