Anyone want to help out....?!

Dirt Disciple
Along with my colleagues at work, we have organised a 'mega fundraising' day for Bone Cancer Research Trust.

There are 5 of us in my office and we intend to cycle in the street using my Litespeed on the turbo trainer and taking it in turns, alternating every half an hour......whilst the other people are ironing for donations in their 'recovery time'!! We will also be selling our homemade cakes to people waiting - and in the street!

Although I cycle every day....two of the other ladies haven't been on a bike for over 25 years, so quite retro! One other hates the look of my saddle and after sitting on it for 2 minutes today moaned like crazy, so I think it is going to be an eventful day!

My office is based in a very busy shopping village and we are doing the event in half term which is just going to be hilarious.....With onlookers in the street and kids running riot, we are certainly going to have some laughs. :D

There is more information on our just giving site including pictures of the team and me on the bike.....any sponsors/donations would be very gratefully appreciated and I will let you know how much we raise too :-)

It should be a fun day and will be great to raise money for such a worthwhile cause.

Thank you very much :)

Hang on, this can't be Money Penny posting those pics...

The lady pictured is wearing too many clothes, and the pics aren't taken from provocative angles with gratuitous arse shots...

Good luck with the money raising though, sounds interesting...

Was there really any need to say this on a thread that's trying to raise a bit of money for sufferers of bone cancer?

I did actually have the decency of making a donation before posting a tongue-in-cheek comment on this thread.

I presume you both have too, or are you still too busy searching for the ladders to get down from your horses...?

Sounds a good cause, good luck. Let us know how you get on.

BB's comment were a little close to the knuckle, however he's put his hand in his pocket and donated ;)

@cyfa removed your comment, was a little too far.

Let's keep it civil from now on please.
